Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم concern of this #Ummah was evident even until his very last breath. His call of Ummati, Ummati Ummati was for you and I. During his life He shed tears until his beard was soaked. He stood in #prayer till his feet swelled. He made dua in #sajda so long, his wife thought he had passed away! That is the concern he had for our Iman. This #Iman that we take so lightly, That we can throw away for a few moments of perceived satisfaction. The same #Deen we treat as fickle, that a person who claims to be a #Muslim would ever utter such words as, it's "JUST A SUNNAH!" Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم and his family starved in the valley when they were exiled. They survived on grass and leaves!! An exile which our mother Khadijah succumbed to. For us to say "JUST A SUNNAH" He صلى الله عليه وسلم was pelted as Taif. Run out of town by dogs and vagrants throwing stones at him, for what? "JUST A SUNNAH ? " He صلى الله عليه وسلم was injured at Uhud. His helmet cut into his cheek while his companions fell around him, giving their lives for "JUST A SUNNAH" Months would pass and the cooking fire would not be lit in his blessed home. He صلى الله عليه وسلم would tie stones on his blessed stomach to lessen the pangs of hunger. He صلى الله عليه وسلم and his companions went through extreme difficulty and torture to preserve this way of life... So that today we can scoff and write it off saying it's "JUST A SUNNAH" We claim to love him صلى الله عليه وسلم But we find his way inconvenient. We claim to love him صلى الله عليه وسلم But we want Deen to be diluted until we find it palatable . We claim we love him صلى الله عليه وسلم But we find Islamic reminders offensive. We claim to love our prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم but we are liars and hypocrites of the worst kind!!

Let us take lessons from the disastrous events we see around us.. Death is a reality. Barzakh is a reality. Qiyamah is a reality. It's only a matter of time. How will we stand before him صلى الله عليه وسلم at the fountain of kausar and say "JUST A SUNNAH" Hoping to get a sip to quench our throats on that day when there will be no other drink. May Allah grant us the ability to live our lives in accordance with the Sunnah of the Best of Creation Muhammed صلى الله عليه وسلم
