Dew drops on Dandelions

BY: The Millennial Muslimah We are all enchanted by butterflies. It is mesmerizing to observe these beautiful creatures who seem almost magical fluttering among the flowers, landing among the dew drops on dandelions. Little fairies perched upon wishes, waiting to wisk you to a whimsical land far far away.

We marvel in awe of the delicate beauty that emerges from the COCOON, enthralled by the colours that flutter in the breeze. How often do we acknowledge and reflect upon the reality of the process? No transformation can begin until and unless there is a complete unbecoming. The caterpillar digests itself entirely until it is nothing but a gooey broth. Have we ever thought about How this sludge can remodel into a creature who's symmetrical design is absolutely precise? How is the head differentiated from the thorax? The mouth with its intricate mechanism, it's compound eyes, it's gravity defying wings that allows flight formed from nothing but caterpillar juice!

How is it that two caterpillars of the same species can eat a different diet yet emerge from the chrysalis identical to the untrained eye. Anyone with even a basic understanding of genetics will know that even if one chromosome was out of place, or a single atom didn't behave in the manner it was Created to... It would spell disaster!

Subhan Allah! He is Al - Muasawwir The Ultimate Fashioner. Every atom is under the complete control of Allah they behave in total obedience to His command. The chrysalis provides the perfect medium for this grand Miracle of Allah. The Divine Originator who Created the cosmos out of nothing and continues to fashion it. The One who reduces the caterpillar to the liquid sludge, then fashions each one into a spectacular work of art. The butterfly never betrays the secret of the solitude it enjoys with its Creator. The intimate moments in isolation. The reward for total surrender! A lesson for people of contemplation...

Like the butterfly.... Isolate yourself with your Lord. Undo the years of conditioning. Allow the layers you have accumulated to unravel and fall away. Liquify everything you thought you were, and everything you were taught you had to be. Let go of all expectations... Surrender to that being who Created you to be a meaningful part of this Universe. In the Grand scheme of things you have a role just as the celestial bodies in the cosmos. Just as the mountains, rivers and fish in the sea have their purpose and function, so too do you. You were Created with intention and purpose!

In this surrender we align with the entire Universe. Empty yourself of all that you came to believe is you, and He will fill you with His Love. Don't settle by playing small! Don't allow the pettiness of this temporal world disturb your inner tranquility... This world that is filled with pain and grief. With trouble and turmoil designed to make you despondent. Transcend to the Presence of your Lord, let go of the shackles of attachments that weigh you down.

Why do you choose to remain in the prison of other people's opinions, the door is wide open? . Flee to Allah, He is the Eternal Refuge. Have Mercy on your aching heart Dear one. Place it in the Hand that will soothe and heal it. Preserve it in The Trust of the One who will never break it. Nourish your heart through The One who is the Source of everything you need to heal and thrive and be whole. The only One who will never let you down.
