DEVELOPING A RELATIONSHIP WITH ALLAH

TAWKKUL IS NOT AUTOMATIC ... It is not just a decision that you make, rather it is a process a constant and dynamic exercise of processing this human experience in this world through our relationship with Allah ta ala. Often I find women who feel guilty because they feel their struggle with a particular issue is a sign that they don't have "enough faith" in Allah... They say, I know I'm supposed to have tawkkul but.... This is going about it the wrong way... The difficulty comes to TEACH YOU HOW to have tawkkul. As we navigate the issue through taking Allah as our Protector and Guardian WE DEVELOP #TAWAKKUL AND TRUST as we begin to recognize the HAND of #ALLAH being instrumental in our lives. It is MOST IMPORTANT for us to develop a RELATIONSHIP with Allah ta ala. A real life dynamic, interactive relationship with Allah. We do not worship a stone, or some entity that has no power. We worship the LORD AND CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE. HE WHO WHEN HE WISHES ANYTHING. SAYS BE AND IT BECOMES. HE WHO CURATED THE COSMOS WITH SUCH PRESICION THAT EVEN A FRACTION OF A DIFFERENCE AND THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WOULD COLLAPSE. HE CREATED IT AND CONTINUES TO SUSTAIN IT. AND ON ANOTHER END OF THE SPECTRUM, HE IS AL LATEEF. THE SUBTLE. CLOSER TO YOU THAN YOUR JUGULAR VEIN. SO CLOSE HE HEARS WHAT YOUR SOUL WHISPERS WHEN IT STIRS.... HE IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU ARE. (57:4) Nurture and Cultivate this Relationship like you do your other relationships. We know Allah is there. We know he is in control we understand that we are his Slaves... However through worship of Allah we are supposed to cultivate a RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. Are we doing this? If not then it's no wonder that we are so lost and ALONE. What does developing a Relationship with Allah entail?

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

You have to acknowledge that Allah is Your Lord and that you are His slave. This is the foundation of our Iman. We say this with our tongue but do we live the reality of it? When it comes to our WILL vs THE WILL of Allah. Are we willing to SUBMIT? ARE we willing to fight our Ego / #Nafs in favor of Allah's Commands? These are questions for us to self - reflect over. To ponder, to ask ourselves what direction am I headed to? Aakhira is our ultimate goal, are our actions in this world in alignment with my Akhira goals? We are living in this world, training for Aakhira. How is that progressing?

PERSPECTIVE IS IMPORTANT it directs or attention to the direction in which we wish to proceed... What direction are you headed in? Have you become caught up and absorbed in Dunya's "HUSTLE CULTURE"? WHERE IS THAT TAKING YOU? WE ARE ALL ON A CONVEYOR BELT TO ALLAH... What direction we are facing? When we reach Him will we be of those who had neglected and denied Him our whole lives? Or will we meet Him with our faces shining from the reflection of His NOOR? TAKE STOCK at the end of each day. What have I done today to take me closer to my ultimate Goal? COMMUNICATION IS KEY. THIS is why #DUA IS THE ESSENCE OF IBADAH. How can you have to relationship with someone you never speak to. I'm talking about ritual worship where we just "go through the motion to get it done" There's a reason and a WISDOM behind each one. Allah knows if salaah is not FARD we will find it difficult to break away from habit and routine to make time to PRAY. so He made these breaks COMPULSORY as a MECRY FOR US ALL.... This salaah is such a great gift if ONLY we could truly understand.

FIVE TIMES A DAY, WE COME INTO DIRECT AUDIENCE WITH THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE.

not just some abstract being. When we begin our salah, Allah ta alas UNDIVIDED ATTENTION IS ON US. Sadly we are often distracted we don't connect... What a loss of an opportunity to ENHANCE OUR RELATIONSHIP... WHEN WE RECITE SURA FAATIHA, ALLAH RESPONDS TO US!! SUBHAN ALLAH, WE HAVE ALLAH'S UNDIVIDED ATTENTION AND ALLAH IS RESPONDING TO WHAT WE ARE SAYING..... Now I want you to reflect.... How do you feel when you trying to speak to your husband during a soccer match on TV? When he is so distracted he's responding in single words and grunts.... Isn't this how our attention is during salaah. Our minds on everything else except where it's supposed to be... MAKE SALAH YOUR "ME TIME" wash off your cares with a conscious WUDHU. strip off the layers that distract you... And step onto your Musallah entirely ATTENTIVE, SEEKING CONNECTION...... I PROMISE YOU, IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!! AND AS YOU PROCEED INTO SAJDA, THE MOMENT WHEN YOU ARE CLOSEST TO YOUR LORD DON'T LIFT YOUR HEAD UNTIL YOU FEEL HIM! HE IS THERE! ADD A SHORT DUA TO EACH SAJDA. SAY IT FROM THE HEART. WATCH YOUR LIFE TRANSFORM.... THIS IS NOT JUST FOR THE PIOUS PEOPLE.... THIS GIFT IS FOR THE SINNERS LIKE US, BECAUSE WE HAVE ENOUGH SUPPLY OF WHAT ALLAH LOVES... THE SINS OF THE SINNERS WHEN THEY TURN TO HIM.. USE THESE SINS AND SHORTCOMINGS TO DRAW CLOSE.... THEN GRAB FROM THE TREASURES OF YOUR LORD.

He LOVES us so much that even our sins are precious to Him.... HAND OVER YOUR BURDENS MY BELOVED SISTER, YOU WERE NEVER MEANT TO CARRY THEM ALONE.... YOU WERE MEANT TO SEEK ALLAH THROUGH THEM.
